Building products sold into the construction industry make up more than a third of REHAU’s ‘advanced polymer solutions’, including window profiles, curtain walling systems, underfloor heating and cooling systems, plus cable trunking and plumbing systems.  Dependent on the product REHAU sells direct to fabricators and contractors, or indirectly through specialist distribution, including wholesalers and builders merchants. As a result the actual customers are clearly defined – but key influencers on the purchasing decisions, can include clients, architects, engineers, local authorities, M&E specialists and of course, all of the contractors involved.

With such a large number of potential decision makers, the management of sales leads, and project tracking with customer accounts is a critical requirement for REHAU.  For this reason SalesAchiever™ CRM, the leading CRM system for the construction industry was selected almost 4 years ago – initially for 6 users in the sales support offices.    

 

This was particularly beneficial in the London sales office, which is actually located at the Building Centre, because this office provides support for all of the company’s products, to clients and specifiers on major projects around the country. The follow up sales activity is then coordinated with their specialised teams in the field.

Marketing Manager, Mike Moseley says “the main benefit has been in handling the huge amount of project leads that we buy in, filtering and linking them to our customer’s accounts and then helping us to cost effectively target these projects.

 

Following this initial success, SalesAchiever™ is now being rolled out to sales people throughout the UK and Europe in the different field sales teams.
