Kingspan insulated panels are now used in almost all different types of development and are specified by leading architects in the retail,
distribution, commercial, leisure, education, hospital, residential and industrial sectors. As a result Kingspan are also known as the
building envelope problem solving and solution providers, throughout the building industry.
In these diverse sectors, and with diverse clients having different and specific project requirements, Kingspan had already grown
rapidly to market leadership, but they now needed a robust, reliable and accurate system of project tracking and forecasting for their
business activities.
The task was to link all the functional departments, including marketing, sales, estimating and technical services, together with forecasting for production; from initial project identification, then throughout the design and specification, tendering and estimating processes, to a successful sale and system installation.
Therefore the management team embarked on an extensive review and evaluation of all of the possible CRM systems and suppliers that claimed they were able to provide this. They first had the potential suppliers present their proposals, then narrowed these down and arranged demonstrations. Finally they visited companies that had the short listed products installed, to get feedback and confirmation of the software capabilities first hand. The SalesAchiever™ system was the clear winner. Kingspan formed a project management team to oversee SalesAchiever™’s configuration to their business processes, followed by its installation and implementation throughout the organisation, this was successfully completed in 2006. |

Today Kingspan with the SalesAchiever™ CRM system, have achieved their objectives, with one set of data that has a 360 degree outlook and is visible to everybody in all of the relevant functional departments.
With over 200 users of the system, the Kingspan management team can easily direct and coordinate their sales and marketing activities – project identification, specification and tender support for clients and their architects, estimating with quotations and installation support for contractors, plus the all important pipeline forecasting for budgeting and production. The field sales force also now have access to all of the up to date information about their clients, their customers and their projects in the frontline and at any time they need it.

The next application for the Kingspan project team will be to use another capability of the modular SalesAchiever™ CRM system, as the live database for their marketing department to arrange, monitor and control their literature and sample distribution, together with the coordination of promotional mailings and invitations for promotional events
